Thin, flexible, continuous metal, usually circular cross section, obtained by drawing through a die. The dimensions with a tolerance for the round wire cross-sections ranging from 0.13 mm (0005 inches) to 25 mm (1 inch). Wire cross-section is called the large Bars. Separate the metal conductor can be hard, twisted or foiled and may be exposed or isolation.
The cold drawing of wire is an important and special sector of steelmaking. It produces wire in hundreds of sizes and shapes and within a spectrum of physical properties unmatched by other steel products. Wire is also produced with many types of surface finish.
Stainless Steel Wire are popularly used in the Engineering, Chemical, Construction and various other industries besides having applications in manufacturing of Kitchen Wares, Utensils and Ornaments.
Thread or slender rod, usually very flexible and circular in cross section, made from various metals and alloys, including iron, steel, brass, bronze, copper, aluminum, zinc, gold, silver, and platinum. The processes used are all fundamentally the same.
